Lecture by Ruth Ben-Ghiat, Professor of Italian Studies and History at New York University.
Professor Ben-Ghiat is the author of several books including her current project, Prisoners of War: Italians in French, German, and British Captivity, 1940-1950 (in progress); Italian Fascism's Empire Cinema (Indiana University Press, 2015), won the Modern Language Association's Also and Jeanne Scaglione Prize for Best Unpublished Manuscript in Italian Studies; Fascist Modernities: Italy, 1922-45 (University of California Press, 2001, 2004); Italian Colonialism, with Mia Fuller) (Palgrave, 2005, 2008).
