Since achieving independence in 1804, Haiti has faced a tumultuous history marked by political upheaval. Despite coups, foreign interventions, natural disasters, dictatorships, presidential assassinations, gang violence, and ongoing political instability.

This three-panel exhibit features people and events who have shaped Haiti's history, as well as exploring Haiti's influence on global politics.
