Tara Suri is a historian of science in colonial and postcolonial South Asia. Her research and teaching focus on histories of medicine and health; histories of decolonization and the Cold War; and histories of race, caste, gender, and sexuality. She is presently at work on a book about South Asia's global biomedical trade in rhesus monkeys.
