Because of the tumult on campus, the originally scheduled talk by Susannah Heschel, the Eli M. Black Distinguished Professor of Jewish Studies, tracing the roots of her pedagogy to Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Civil Rights movement in the 1960s, has been cancelled.

Instead, a forum on the campus events of May 1 will be held at the same time and place. It will feature Prof. Heschel, Jonathan Smolin (Asian Studies), Tarek El-Ariss (Middle Eastern Studies), and Ezzedine Fischere (Middle Eastern Studies).

May 8 at 4:30 pm in Rocky 1.
