Across Dartmouth, 52 professors have been promoted, including 19 who were granted tenure.
Faculty are evaluated for promotion and tenure in three areas through a rigorous evaluation process: research, teaching, and service.
“I’m delighted to congratulate these faculty colleagues, who bring commitment, curiosity, and important new insights to their fields,” says David Kotz ’86, the Pat and John Rosenwald Professor in the Department of Computer Science who last month completed his term as provost. “They have a tremendous impact in the classroom and with their research.”
