The Deeds of Philip Augustus with Cecilia Gaposchkin and Sean Field
Cecilia Gaposchkin, Professor of History and Chair of the History Department, was a guest on The Medieval Podcast. She and Sean Field, University of Vermont, discuss the life of Philip II Augustus as recorded by a contemporary monk. Gaposchkin and Field are editors of The Deeds of Philip Augustus: An English Translation of Rigord's "Gesta Philippi Augusti", translated by Larry M. Field (Cornell University Press).
