Join us for a moderated discussion with author Jonathan Katz, and Claire Peyton PH.D. a Visiting Scholar at the Carter G. Woodson Institute for African-American and African Studies at the University of Virginia, as they share their first-hand account of the devastating hurricane and earthquake that nearly destroyed Haiti in 2010 and discuss the successes and failures of the global aid response. Discussion will be facilitated by Dartmouth Professor Chelsey Kivland.
