Celebrating a James Baldwin centennial, join author René Aguigah and scholar Rich Blint for a conversation on Aguigah's new book, James Baldwin, The Witness: A Portrait (2024).

René Aguigah is a cultural journalist based in Berlin. He heads the literature desk at German public radio (Deutschlandfunk and Deutschlandradio Kultur) and has been a juror at the Leipzig Book Fair and a Fellow at the Thomas Mann House in Los Angeles. Aguigah is the author of the book James Baldwin: Der Zeuge. Ein Porträt (2024). 

Rich Blint, a scholar, writer, and specialist on James Baldwin, is currently a Research Associate in the Department of English at the University of Pennsylvania where he's completing two upcoming books.
