Join students of HIST 97: Theory and History of Finance for dinner and a fun, engaging workshop on the role of finance in our daily lives and the US economy! 5:30-6:30. Carson 60.
What do Dartmouth grads in finance do? Are investment bankers good for the economy? Where does all the money in finance come from? Has the logic of Wall Street burrowed into our minds?
All summer, the students of Professor Moreton’s HIST 97 independent study have been hard at work trying to answer these questions. Join us this Wednesday from 5:30 - 6:30pm to help understand finance, why it’s so dominant at Dartmouth, and what that means for each of us. To demystify how finance works, we’ve prepared fun, engaging activities for you. We’ll include time for discussion and reflection too—and all of it over a delicious dinner.
Carson 60. 5:30 - 6:30.
Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
